Welcome to Posh & Broke’s first Beauty post! We can’t think of a better way to kick off the Beauty section than feature one of our favorite designers…drum roll please…VENA CAVA!

It’s safe to say that it was all about the eyes for makeup at Vena Cava’s Autumn/Winter 2011-12 show for New York Fashion Week! Inspired by the mid-90s, specifically grunge style icons PJ Harvey and Fiona Apple, Vena Cava designers, Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock, chose to play down the face and go FIERCE on the eyes. The result? G-g-glamorous! So ofcourse we just had to track down exactly how their talented make-up artist, Christian McCulloch (for MAC), achieved this oh-so-sexy look!
