Affordable but fabulous Swedish label, H&M, has chosen Brazillian supermodel Gisele as the face of it’s Spring 2011 Campaign. Smart move. The 40 year-old beauty (yes, she’s 40!) looks amazing in the boho-inspired shoot. Sure you could wrap Gisele in a garbage bag, call it a dress and we’d still go and buy it, but hey, it works! All jokes aside, the collection does hold it’s own – consisting mainly of soft, romantic pieces that are fresh and very on-trend. Bravo H&M!
Lady Gaga is the face of MAC’s Spring 2011 Viva Glam Campaign. This is the second year the fabulous artist has been asked to represent the Collection, perhaps due to her success last year when she was joined by Cyndi Lauper. The MAC AIDS Fund was established in 1994 to help raise awareness and money for people affected by HIV/AIDS. 100% of all proceeds raised by the MAC Viva lipstick and lipglass go directly to helping this cause so get lippy my fellow MAC Lovers!

That’s right, brides-to-be, Urban Outfitters is launching it’s first bridal collection next Monday (Feb 14, 2011)! The edgy fashion chain will launch the collection exclusively online starting with gowns ($1000-$4000), veils, shoes, wraps, and eventually expanding into everything else bridal. The U.S. fashion chain will also trickle their collection into a number (2-3) of their bricks and mortar shops in 2012.
I’m a big fan of Urban Outfitters (and a bride-to-be) so I welcome this expansion but mainly for the accessories that will be on offer. I have to admit the idea of buying a wedding gown from the high-street retailer or any fashion chain for that matter, doesn’t appeal to me, not to mention buying a wedding dress online! But who knows, if their taste in mainstream fashion is anything to go by, Urban Outfitters may prove to be a unique exception!
Mila Kunis looked absolutely breath-taking on the cover of ‘LA Times’ Magazine’s February 2011 issue. The 27 year-old Black Swan beauty posed for photographer Ruven Afanador in a Georges Hobeika dress. Is there anything that Asos doesn’t do for it’s online readers!? The amazing site has not only introduced a new Marketplace section, they also offer a free monthly magazine! How did I only just catch on to this?? (Oh yeah, I was too distracted by their limitless selection of fabulous clothes!)
Moving on though, 22 year-old model Daisy Lowe will be gracing the cover of Asos’ March issue and you can check it out as soon as tomorrow (Feb 4, 2011) on Asos.com/magazine!
